Body is formed of scrap radiator brass, 2 1/2" X 2" and 3 1/2" tall; spout is 1 1/2" long and tapers to 3/8", both have a soldered lap seam:

Shown next to a modern flask for size comparison only, the flask offered retains ribs in its brass body from the annealing and flattening steps:

Ends are chokecherry, 3/8" thick. Salvaged copper pipe was re-rolled and tapered for the spout, flared, and fitted with a pinned one-way brass washer:

Ends are glued and press-fit slightly below flush and two copper pins are added at each end:

No finish has been applied, only beeswax. Not shown is a cork I'll include. I'd like $35.00 and ask the buyer to pay the USPS shipping. Thank you for looking!

Gun Tramp does beautiful work - I picked up the tins that he was offering. If you get this, you won't be disappointed!

Not a very good explanation. The spout is a press-fit through the chokecherry end and the wood is tightly sandwiched between the spout's flared end and the one-way washer. The washer's desire to seize the tapered spout during fitting was "exhilarating" and the pins through the washer aren't really needed. They unfortunately make it appear that the spout may only sit atop the wood. Thanks...
