Happy to own a new flintlock. Custom copy of a small French handgun originaly with steel furniture, this one is all brass including a rounded brass lock plate. The other lock parts are 4140 steel 'cept the springs and frizzen that are high carbon steel. Strong lock sparks great. The .54 Colrain octagon to tapered round and flared smoothbore barrel is 4.75" long. Maybe its load will be a ball on top of three .25/#3 Buckshot over 20 grains of FFg...

Overall length is about 9". American Walnut with an Ebony end cap. 18th C. concealed carry! The round butt fits sweetly in the palm of the hand.

Very good, sir.....I love those French Pocket Pistols....I made one in 22 cal. to teach my daughters how to shoot flint guns...
