There old Remington caps, I have a few tins of them they work just as good as any others. As to the Richland caps no, but like a lot of other things they may be re-tinned for a supplier. SWAG

Richland was around in the 1970s in muzzleloading’s hey day. The box the caps came in look very similar to what old CVA caps were shipped in around the same time. I still have some cva’s and they work fine. They are corrosive, but with black powder you have to clean up anyway so no big deal. I’ll bet they work. You may have a weak one once in a while, but I’d shoot them up.

Well, you lucky dog, you... I haven't been able to find SQUAT for #11's except for one leftover tin I found hidden in my plunder.

If anyone would be interested in CCI Small Rifle primers and will let loose of some CCI or Rem #11's, I'll swap 2 to 1...

Probably Fiocchi caps. are they brass?. Most Italian caps were made by Fiocchi. At one time they made the caps sold by CVA. The brass is not as soft as the copper used by others and often, especially with misshapen nipples, it takes two strikes for them to ignite. They can be hard to pry off after firing as well. Not normally foil lined like most copper caps. I could fire them fine on my Ruger Old Army, but they were a major %&*@@ to get the spent caps off the nipples.

Sorry about photobucket ruining the shot, but this shows the box from Fiocchi. notice the similarity?

Grafs had RWS caps in regular and magnum about a week ago... they weren't cheap, but they were there for the grabbin' for a couple of days...
Yea they are all gone, getting to be as scarce as hens teeth!

Nothing wrong with those caps. Probably mildly corrosive as others have pointed out, but reliable. You did good. Now shoot 'em up.
