What is not allowed is depleted uranium! Also, from what I've read in the Muzzle Blast magazine, guns that have been soled on the frizzen with the material you are trying to use are not allowed on the range.
One of my rifles has a Russ Hamm lock. He used to be known for using some kind of uranium on his frizzens. Sparked like crazy but shooter was probably breathing radioactive particles! My lock just has a normal steel faced frizzer. I imagine the radioactiveRuss Hamm locks might be a collector's item now. What is not allowed is depleted uranium!
