Just wanted to introduce myself.
I have been shooting muzzleloaders for around 34 years and have flirted with about everything from flintlocks to in-lines. I retired from the U.S. Navy in 1996 and moved back to my beloved Missouri Ozarks. I still work full time as a machinist and enjoy hunting, shooting and gunsmithing in particular along with about anything else I can do outside. I am currently collecting parts for my next rifle project, an early Virginia flintlock. I have already found a bunch of good information here and intend to visit regularly. I live in Iron county so if anyone knows of a nearby club please let me know!

Welcome to camp Bobcat. I went thru Basic Training and AIT Trainging right up there in your neck of the woods.
Ft. Leonard wood Mo., I don't think it's too far anyway. :hmm: Still remember that I arrived 31st of July. That night 3:00 AM laying in a top bunk, in nothing but my skivies, temp was still in high 80's at that time of night, not to mention the humidity! Old WW2 barracks no AC only a couple of old ceiling fans for the entire 2nd floor general population. I found out what heat and humidty was all about. :shocked2:
Can't say I ever saw alot of the scenary though. I was only off base twice before they shipped me out! :rotf: :rotf:
