I'm just returning to muzzle loading after mistakenly thinking those newfangled firearms were the only way to go. Boy, was I wrong! Dreadfully boring regardless of caliber or type and I finally realized I needed to get back to that easy going, relaxed feeling only derived from muzzle loading and billows of black smoke. I have been casting bullets and reloading for years, enjoy working on my guns and refinishing both metal and wood. I currently have a few cap & ball revolvers, a double barrel cap lock shotgun and a plains rifle of unknown origin that I suspect was a poorly finished kit in it's past life. That is my next project gun. All that aside, I am exceedingly happy to have found this forum.

Welcome, fellow Florida-en pull up a log and sit next to the fire, whilst we jaw a bit.
If like the traditional ways you'll enjoy you time here. I came here in 07 and have been every since!

Thanks much for the welcome. If this weekend stays fairly dry I think I'll hunt some tin cans out in the pasture.
