Wow! That is one really gorgeous M.1860. Besides being "drop-dead sexy", the raised front sight set up is a well done solution to the age old problem of them printing high on the target. U.S. ordnance back then decided cavalry handguns needed to be sighted in for 75 yards (68.5 meters).

Welcome Erik. I was just reading some family history last night, seems there were some Hartline's who came from the village of Wallmersbach, district of Ansbach Bavaria. Anyway, welcome and those are some great looking pistols you have there.

Welcome! My ancestors were from the Palatinate, the Rhine and Moselle Rivers, a place once called "Disselsheim". They were Moravians who migrated to America in 1732: Marcus & Matthias Jung founded the town of Lancaster, PA. Do you know where modern Disselsheim might be? I am planning a trip to Germany in two years to visit the place of my ancestors.

Thx an all, I was sick for a longer time, but now I feel good again. I got a new babe for my collection, the last custom engraved centennial model that`s I need. Now I`m the one owner who had all 4 models, which are selled in 72 in Europe.
