Howdy everyone. Terry here. I recently finished up a hand-me-down kit for a Hawken 50 cal percussion rifle. Of course, now I'm hooked on muzzleloading. I did a little playing around with it some as a kid. My dad was into it some, so we had a few rifles around the house.

Been shooting my whole life, but still pretty new to muzzleloading. I'd like to learn and practice the traditional/authentic ways of frontier hunting and shooting. Unfortunately, I just don't have the time or money to go after this the way I would like.

I look forward to learning a lot from the folks on this forum. Should be an enjoyable way to spend some time in the evenings.

Welcome to the forum from a guy whose ancestors lived in Surry county NC back in the days after the revolution.
