Hello,
I have been shooting traditional muzzleloaders for about 10 years and I'm always looking to learn more. I shoot a flintlock rifle regularly but my main interests include Bavarian wheellock rifles, miquelet rifles, and Japanese matchlocks.
A different taste in the black powder arts. Flintlocks are my style with some caplocks added in for some variety. Other BP shooters keep finding this forum so...welcome. Jump in whenever you have something to say. All viewpoints welcome.

Welcome! Would love to see photos of some of your collection when you get settled in... :)
Thanks! My collection is mostly milsurps but as far as BP I have a TC Renegade flintlock and a Zoli Zouave carbine so far. I had the mindset that I only needed one flintlock for a while because I wasn't able to shoot more than 3 times a year. The only range I knew of was an hour and a half away! About 2 years ago I learned of and joined a local club so I started getting out a lot more. I plan to buy something more in line with my particular interests soon. I had my sights set on a Circassian miquelet rifle but it sold before I was able to close the deal. I'm also saving to have a wheellock rifle custom made.
