I, too am originally from rural NJ (Morris County) but came up her forty years ago and couldn't leave. I used to skirmish with a group from near Ft. Dix. Welcome to the North Country.

I unfortunately am still working on building my flintlock (actually still waiting on parts). I will likely be only a spectator but would still want to go.

I would agree, should be cheating. That said, the last time I shot an actual muzzleloader was as a 16 year old kid with my dad. I get hobbies/obsessions to keep me going/active/functioning. I don't have a muzzleloader currently. Always loved shooting. Always had an interest in history. Always had an interest (more of a love) with the outdoors. All this tells me that this is a GOOD place for an addition to my life. I'm a Newbie for all intents and purposes. I'll still have a ways to go before I'm able to actually do much more than observe. Workin' on it.
