Hi,
I'm pretty new to muzzleloading. While I was pretty interested for a while, it wasn't until a December muzzleloader deer season opened in my area a couple years ago that I bought a Lyman Deerstalker. I started out with conicals and sabots only because a local store was selling them at a serious discount. I recently started shooting prb's with much better results.
I just traded that rifle to my cousin for a nice shotgun and bought myself a .50 Pedersoli Kentucky caplock (and I haven't had the chance to fire it yet!).
And I've gone through a lot of the more fun topics like what lube is best and prb vs. conical  . Definitely a ton of good advice here!
I think my next rifle will be a .32 or .36 flinter, although there is a local maker that has kits in .40. But first, I have to wait for my wife to stop asking "how many guns did you get this year?"
regards,
Luke
