Yeah, it's a big state.
We got a sample when it took a good part of 2 days to get to Big Bend.
But it was worth the drive! Last time, snow chased us back home. Snow in the Texas High Desert?
Fort Stockton is an 8-hour stopping point when heading West, and you're still 3 hours from El Paso!
Heading East, New Orleans is 3 hours closer to home, mais ils parle Francaise, pas Espanol.
That's OK. They all have good food.

Near Houston, at 4pm, we're enjoying the glorious clouds and 41 degrees.
Fort Worth had sleet this morning, and my son said that the traffic was crazy!
