Help identifying old pistol

I recently inherited this pistol and I've been trying to find out anything about it that I can.
It doesn't have rifling in the barrel and as far as I can tell there are no markings or symbols indicating a manufacturer, besides that I know nothing about these type of firearms.
Any help would be appreciated

That's because that's a cut down shotgun made into a pistol.

I think that is a cut down monkey gun from Southeast Asia. Maybe a Vietnam bring back souvenir.
