As the post suggests I'd like to see your kit, don't care about the time frame so much as seeing how ya all put it together. pictures are worth a thousand words to me

Probably not what you're expecting...

This is our fur trade setup at a recent show. We also set up outdoors (without the paintings, and with a A-tent)

Thanks I'm looking for anything ya all wanna show :) clothing and such are the primary items, but accoutrements complete the kit Nice stuff Pic and SgtS

Pichou, absolutely awesome  A lot of work went into that display, thats for sure.

Been away a couple of days, need to catch up on repsonses, thanks for the shots

cal 43 Who's tent? Looks to be a nice set up from what I can see on the photo

Diggler impressive kit, the canteen pouch and haversack canvass?

Ghost,

Canteen pouch is leather. i leave it open-topped and use it (if i need to) to carry those small curios i pick-up thruout a day of traveling in the woods. originally i would stowe good tinder for my evening fire there, but the canteen leaks, so i stopped doing that!
Haversack is hemp, but i dont carry the haversack anymore, as its just too much gear.
So in answer to the original question, you can take out the haversack, and probly the belt ax, and that's how i travel. you really dont need more.
:v
