They said even water will take it off. They said it has to have a coat of wax on the stock during cleaning. It’s on their web page. I don’t think I’ll use True Oil on anything I make though…

I've read a number of comments about Tried & True oil finish taking an inordinate amount of time to dry. I had bought some in prep of finishing a Kibler SMR, but changed my mind after using some on another project and finding the slow dry to indeed be the case. I bought a small can of Permalyn sealer to use instead.
