I need to make a new F&I weskit. I can not find a pattern for the longer F&I weskit. Will a Frock Coat pattern of the same time period, less the sleeves work? If it will work I'll get it ordered [from Burnley & Trowbridge] if not then suggetions are needed. I also am wondering about material patterns [checks, stripes, ect.] for breeches and shirts. I thought I posted this earlier, must have hit the wrong button. Thanks Doc Or

I was having trouble finding patterns for my size. I purchased "Tidings from the 18th century" by Beth Gilgun. There are detailed pattern making guides for numerous clothing items & it shows how to size them. It's about $32 from amazon right now, but 2 or 3 patterns will cost you that much. Hope that helps.
