Welcome from the Blue Ridge mountains of Southwest Virginia.

One of my great grandfathers was a Stewart. In the mid 1600s, the Stewarts (various spellings) were given an interesting offer: the Tower of London or a one-way cruise to the colony of Mary Land. The smart ones said, "Let's get on the boat, let's get on the boat!" :D

Welcome!

I trust those who celebrate their Scottish roots will be marking Burns night on the 25th. Don't forget the neeps (rutabaga/swede) and tatties to go with the haggis!
