Just popped in to introduce myself.

I´m a 32 year old blacksmith from sweden.
I found you by accident while looking for other info.

However all of you together seem to hold an enormous amount of knowledge, and i like the friendly tone you seem to have on this forum.

So, i thogt i´d stick around for a while, there´s always something to be learned, and with a little luck, i might even be of some help for someone.

Mind tho, that i´m a begginer(soon enogh anyway) when it comes to muzzleloaders.

Best Regards: Aeon :hatsoff:

Ps: Please apologise any spelling or otherwise grammatic errors, since English is not my first language.

Welcome Aeon! :hatsoff:
You've come to the right place.
Don't worry about your grammar, we know what you are saying.
If the spelling police came here, half of us would be locked up. :haha:

Welcome! You got me beat as I only know English.
Sweden....thats Volvo right?

Welcome. Don't worry about the English or grammer. It's always nice to hear from the European shooters and hear how you do things. We can always learn from you.

Welcome Aeon, glad to meet you. Your English is just fine! I would be interested in learning about shooters over there. Emery

Yepp, the factory is actually just 4km from my home.

They are owned by Ford tho, so i guess it´s an American company after all! :hmm:

"Yag Kant inta prata svenski oska.."
Shold be:
Jag kan inte prata svenska heller (Ocksa(oska)= To, Heller= Eather).

Seems to be quite a bunch of swedish descendants here: akjim, Rocky J and Gus so far!

Thank you for a warm welcome!

Well if you want me to!

I´m a "traditional" blacksmith, mainly working with the anvil, hammer and a coalforge.
But since it´s 2008 i also work with welders, woodpeckers, gasforge and other powertools!

I´m not working fulltime as a blacksmith tho, but has my own forge!

Some samples of my work for you:

Heller= Neither (forgot to check my spelling, sorry).
Not sure tho, there seems to be a grammar issue!

Translation for the rest of you:
Jag kan inte prata svenska heller = I don´t speak Swedish neither(to)!

I was wondering, do you work with the scouts at all? I plan on traveling to Sweden in 2011 for the World Jamboree. I was wondering if Muzzleloading and Blacksmithing were popular with the scouts there.
