I've never even seen one.

I believe these were horse mounted in heavy leather sheaths/scabbards.

Really. I figured it would be close to a holster for a Walker. Guess I could be wrong....heck my wife tells me I am wrong on most things...lol

I just googled Colt Dragoon Holster and lots of stuff popped up. I'm thinking you are correct.

Can't imagine wearing that monster on a belt all day.

I own one of these and they are HEAVY pistols.

Is the same true of the Walker holster? Those things (Walkers) are monsters. I just received mine by UPS today. You can’t correctly realize the massiveness of a Colt Walker by the pics. Hold it in your hands and it becomes really large and heavy! I love it!
