home made bore guide

idont like to use the bore guide's you can by when hunting, they are to slow to use.so heres a good one to make for hunting and it stays on the ram rod[this good for .50 and .54 cals] take one 45/70 case and cut down to about 3/4 inch drillahole through the primer hole to just a bit bigger than your rod.it also helps retain the ram rod as well.

That's a great idea. Staying on the rod is handy too. I always lose small stuff like that in the field.
