I for one would never go to such lengths to assure the powder is scrunched perfectly! :m2c:

If my rifle shot any better I couldn't tell it. I'd suggest if you're not getting one hole groups at 50 yards you probably ought to go back to basics, things like powder charge and patch thickness. :imo:

Or maybe I'm just lucky, because my rifle drills!

This has reminded me of our last shoot just last Sat. mornin' one of our guys shot his rifle with out a patch! Check out the patchless ball shoot post I'm about to make.
