Hot off the Bench

[Larry Gardner]

I'm a new member here and thought I would show you my latest project. It's a 40 caliber, left handed flintlock with a sliding patchbox that I built for a buddy in Indiana. The inlays and nosecap are made from elk antler. The moon and stars in the cheekpiece are german silver and the background is ebony. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Larry really appreciates the nice comments! We'll try to keep up with you guys. We ARE trying to stop Kerry. ha Larry is an NRA member and, in fact, has a rifle on display at the NRA museum. Zonie...Larry is going to do a little sketch that he says will show you about the nosecap better than he can explain it. We'll try to get that up tonight.
