I was at Ft frederick today and got a really good deal on a pair of .62 new-old-stock green river rifle barrels. Are they good shooters or what?? I have one of them on my underhammer already.I aint drilled a nipple hole yet, but the 1 1/8 barrel feels good on there. They were really dusty inside ,but wiped out nicely.

Congratulations on your find and good deal. Green River Rifle Works barrels from Roosevelt, Utah were great barrels and are still my measuring stick for all others. I have had rifles with those barrels on them in the past and they were very good shooters. I won a lot of matches back in the 70's and 80's with them. They had a great reputation by just about everybody that shot ML rifles back then. I am seriously jealous. I am sure you will like them. I wish they were still in business.

I agree. My Green River .54 is a very good barrel & is on the rifle I shoot when I'm serious about winning.
