Several years ago Shiloh Rifle out of Big Timber Montana had all their display guns stolen out of their trailer from a hotel parking lot (actually I don't 100% remember but the whole trailer may have been stolen). The serial numbers for those rifles were put out in the BPCR and shooting community. To the best of my knowledge none of them have ever been recovered. These were very unique guns with known serial numbers and they just vanished forever.

That is why you buy a high end safe and bolt it to the floor. One video showed a couple of minutes, but if you look at the door when it pops open it is a cheap safe with out cross bolts. Buy the time you can get in mine, the cops are there. I watched one guy with a Harbor Frt grinder, took him for ever. Anyone can get in my safe with simple hand tools before me or the cops are in your face, I will give you my stuff. Assuming you can even find my safe.
