How do you make a flint flat on top?

Contacted DMT and they sugested 6 inch extra course diamond stone (D6X). Will that do the trick if used with water?

Remember to wear a dust mask whenever you grind flint. The tiny rock dust particles can lead to Silicosis,a lung disorder somewhat similar to Mesothelioma from breathing asbestos.

Yes it will work good ,Fill a flat pan up with water and a drop of soap level with the top of the stone,works great this way..Ray

Ray: Do you agree that I Could use a DMT stone D6X (extra course) with the water treatment you suggested. Little confused if I should use a stone or a hone?
