I have 1’000 cci #11’s and was wondering if any of you out there could give a ball park estimate of how long these should last me, shooting maybe 2-3 times a month
A very long time when shooting flintlocks. 5-8 trips to the range with my ROA.

If the gun fires with only one cap per shot then nearly one thousand shots. But if the firearm doesn’t work correctly then you could use them up in a short time. We read about people who pop several caps trying to get a gun to fire then pulling the load.

Quality counts.
Estimate how many shots per month you shoot. Divide 1,000 by the number of shots and the answer will be a rough estimate of how many months they will last.
