Folks,

I don't know how to set up a poll on here, but it would be nice to have someway to tally up the combined total of years of exposure/experience with muzzleloaders. I would expect the number to reach at least a few thousand years.

It would just be interesting to see how much it is.

Regards, and shoot safely!

35 years and ain't quit yet.

Powell, Musketman and me makes 98 years and with your two that makes a hundred. :rotf: :rotf:

33 years and going down hill fast. Just had another knee replacement. :shocked2:

Less than a year with traditional MLs. And I only have two rifles and a pistol. Thanks to this board, I have been drawing heavily on the knowledge and experience and I feel like I am much further along the learning curve than I would have been, trying to learn only by trial and errorS.

Somewhere around 10 years less than 'tipis'
and 13+ years longer than her new knee :rotf: :rotf:
Got It? Around 20+ years
snake-eyes :hmm:

I started hunting when I was 9, but shot my first ML, a Mule Ear, when I was 14 in July 1973. Bought my first ML in '74. Been shootin' 'em ever since, rarely ever shoot a cartridge gun. So I reckon I been makin' smoke for 33 years and almost 3 months.

Got my first in 1982, have twenty some now. 24 yrs later. Nobody in my family had owned one that I knew before, had alot of other guns and pistols. I was 43 when I got mine, wish I could of had them sooner, I acually knew what to do with them by instinct, would go to library and read up and be right. Dilly
