I am 26 shot black powder as a teenager, started again last year after about a 10 year hiatus when I figured out what girls were

So, you figured out what girls were, and then you learned what they REALLY are and came back to muzzleloading.

55 got into muzzle loading well oddly enough off a trade when I was 40 a Pietta Sheriff in Brass was added to boost the other end. Heck I thought it looked cool enough I might work it on another trade I ended up shooting it and liking it I have ended up adding 9 more over the years Couple In Lines, Kentucky Style Rifle and Pistol few more revolvers various calibers. I often run into some new folks worried about black powder shooting (WIVES TALES). Point Blank get ya one ya want find ya someplace to shoot it. Keep in mind SAFTEY when ya load and pull the trigger have a buddy around just to steady your nerves and in case mishaps, LEAVE the so called EXPERT(s) behind YOU get out and get it done report back to me.......Usually more times than not it is a one word response "BITTEN" then they tell me about a few acquisition's they have made.

56 years. Since I was 11 or 12.

Just turn'd 90 ****.. First taste of BP was a Single 10b used by an "OLD" Lengthsman to shoot Crows (when I was about 12).
From "His" length of Verges "He" kept for the Local Council. Shot size 5's or several lengths of fine Watch chain scrounged here & there. Worked Wonders on flocks of Rooks or Black Birds as"e"called They.. I've Smoked since. Flint and Caplock. O.D.

Turned 70 in May and am blessed to be in much better condition than most.

Long-time shooter, gunsmith, and collector, but first ML was the Henry Deringer in my avatar I picked up last year.

Since then have picked up three Colt 1849 Pockets and three 2nd Gen Colts; an 1851 Non-Navy (blank cylinder ), an 1862 Pocket Navy, and an 1962 Pocket Police.

Joined this forum to learn more and you guys haven’t disappointed.

Out of the Army Dec '67 and traded for a BP boot pistol, traded it for a rolling block Hornet been mostly Single shots and BP for hunting ever since, I'll be 80 next year

90 well done , that’s 9 years away for me. Yup 81 last 22 March Body starting to fall apart , cancer under control with tablets and infusion, tooth fillings falling out, toes hurt, right leg feels a bit numb, but still got hair not white yet The list of jobs around the place get longer and her indoors drones on. The uk gun laws get me down, but we are probably the only country it seems we can hunt with pcp airguns no licence needed . Police took away my shotguns but I can still collect obsolete guns. Hope to make 100 , dream on !!!!! Still shoot arrows over morning coffee , sex remind my what it is ??? At best it’s a cup of tea in bed !!!

I'm 77, and have been shooting muzzle loaders since I was 15 (62 years), when I ordered a Numrich Boot Pistol - which was sent through the mail, complete with a plastic flask containing 4 oz. of powder, a bullet mold, and a tin of French caps (which absolutely refused to split, and had to be scraped off the nipple) - I still have the pistol, the mold and most of the French caps...

Nearing 70 and went to my doctor a couple of days ago with a new pain. He tapped on my shoulder and said "Welcome to the Golden years”.
