My husband and I are collectors and came across this we are pretty sure it is a replica of an 18th century flintlock pistol, but we are not sure anyrhing about it. We would love to know anything about it. Please help.

Thank you!!The clearest indicator that this is a replica is the frizzen “spring,” which is molded directly into the lock plate rather than functioning as a true spring. Additionally, the barrel lacks a drilled touch hole, confirming its inability to fire. This piece is a non-functional wall hanger, intended purely for decorative purposes.
