Hello all! I am a newby to the muzzle loading world, although not new to firearms.

Involved with 4-H Shooting Sports and our club is starting a Muzzle loading project, so there are lots of questions.

Hope to learn allot here!

Thank You!

Welcome to the forum trlrider! I am happy to see that our younger generations are getting involved in Shooting sports. I am very excited that you have chosen to introduce them to muzzleloading. This is definitely the place to learn all there is to know about our sport and way of life. Numerous members here have decades of experience and knowledge. Any questions that you have will be answered here. This is a site for Traditional Muzzleloading as you may already know. Alot of very good folks here would be more than happy to get you started with all the information that you will need. I bid you great success in your endeavor and thankyou for what you are doing with our younger generation. Respectfully, cowboys1062.

Welcome to the forum! I started with modern firearms and gradually moved to black powder over the years.

Everything that cowboys1062 and Shooey said.

I am sure that you know how important the work that you do with these young folks is. In addition to teaching them the use of these firearms, try to give them a strong underpinning of the history that goes with them. The section on "Muzzleloading and History in the Media" can give you good sources.

And ask questions. We will gladly help you.

Welcome, and thank you. :hatsoff:
