Howdy from Texas,

I guess like some new members, I bought a flintlock and then decided to
educate meself about it. Have learned tons of good things already and consider
it good luck to have found this forum.

A little story
Our vet had twin boys that were friends of mine and I used to spend the night at their house. The TV room had a work bench on the back wall. Their dad would work on flintlock kits at the bench. We knew better than to touch anything but I used to stare a hole in that bench and really wanted to shoot one of those rifles.

Well, its been 45 years since 3rd grade, but, now I'm gonna. Been shoot'n BP cartridge in cowboy shooting the last three years; but I'm a real Greenhorn when it comes to front stuffers.

Regards,

Halfhitch,
Welcome to the forum glad you found us and
decided to join in. Lots of great folks and information
here at the MLF. There are more than a few other Texans
here also. The best advise i could give you is to read
all you can in the areas you are interested in, then
if you have questions, ask away on the forums that
apply.
Contribute when you can and have fun.
again welcome and stay active
