Here in Minnesota I hunt Christmas trees but a bit differently. We own a Christmas tree plantation so in the fall I take my light .45 longrifle and a few rolls of marking ribbon and prowl the plantation marking trees I like so they are easier to find if covered in snow come December. Often there are grouse and plenty of rabbits wondering under the trees. Always nice to pick out beautiful trees and maybe pick off a bird or two for supper.

Is there any other Christmas tree hunters here on the forum?
I went on a Christmas tree hunt close to the cabin here in Norway and made a video!
It is just one of those things you can do with a smooth bore..
i just love the versatility of this "bobed" Tulle..!

Snapshot , Thank you for posting. I never realized just how hardy Christmas trees are. Been on many Christmas
tree hunts but I never thought about using a muzzle loader. Showed your video to my wife and she thought
it was funny and wondered when I was going to try this. Merry Christmas to you and your's
