It is my understanding that the original manufacturer of my weapon was bought out. I am in need of some spare parts. Any suggestions where I might find them?

Thank you sir for the information. I will check them out. Basic parts such as trigger group, sears, lock, looking for replacement nipples etc. Nothing broken yet but I am getting back to siding this weapon and it was my experience that the sear had a habit of wearing out.

Nipples can be purchased from Track of the Wolf and lots of others . I don't know if Pedersoli's Enfields use the same parts , They could be a source for you . I have had 2 Musketoons and know of many more , the only way the sears etc ever wear out is if the owner takes a shine to them .

I'd avoid Track on this one. They're mostly for round ball guns and this is military.

Since S&S was mentioned, I'll throw this one in the mix. They have parts for most anything muzzleloading military from that era-

No, the nipples are an entire source of frustration with these guns. The Italian repops are usually metric thread. US originalguns are standard. PHs made in England are a unique English thread and it's close to US, but not quite, DON'T force one into it. Originals from Europe will have nonstandard thread patterns of their own. If the OPs gun is an unmolested Birmingham made 1st gen, then the thread pattern will be English.

Track do sell nipples for Parker Hale Enfields , I have purchased dozens over the years with no problems fitting them to my PH rifles .This is from TOTW online catalogue
Nipple, 5/16-18 thread, for English mfg. Parker Hale Enfield musket, musket cap, stainless steel, 1/4" square lug
  • Cone length: 0.475"
  • Thread journal length: 0.275"
  • Overall length: 0.750"
  • Diameter of base: 0.370

No worries , I sold my last 10 Ampco nipples to a Musketoon owner last October , he now has enough to last a lifetime . If you have an old nipple past its use by date , don't chuck it out , drill it out , fit a length of hose and use it for cleaning your barrel with out removing it from the stock , put the hose into a bucket of hot water with whatever else you use and pump away .
