My C&B snubby loading lever is called the **** Dastardly Tower of Power. That's one hell of a loading lever
The cylinder lock is from Midway USA.About $4o if I remember .That's one hell of a loading lever
Do you have to get a new grip frame for the bird's head grips or are the original modified? Here are my Snubbies. I made the 1858. Cut the barrel, filed a new dove tail for the front sight, rounded the grip frame. Lots of fun.

My first thought too! I will admit though not really functional, I do like the aesthetics better with the loading lever than without! That's one hell of a loading lever
It is the original frame. There is plenty of room to round it off. You have to relocate the pin I n some cases, not really hard.Do you have to get a new grip frame for the bird's head grips or are the original modified?
The cylinder is stainless. I have several extra cylinders, they are easy to swap out when shooting. It does look purple I hadn't noticed until you said it. Just the reflection when taking the pic.Why is that cylinder purple?
I have two have two handsI love the pair of Capt Scheaffers
My Army and Navy snubbies both came with those bird head grips. It is the original frame. There is plenty of room to round it off. You have to relocate the pin I n some cases, not really hard.

Howdy.Hi Bunk,
When I read your snubbie post last December I forgot to ask a question at the time. I have a Remington snubby and I haven't gotten around to shooting it as yet. I'm curious as to what powders, grain loads and bullets you have shot in your snubbies. Also, if you have any chronograph data. Thanks in advance for a reply.
