Got up and took my brass barreled pistol to the range today. It was three firsts for me, the first gun I built, first flintlock I've ever owned, and first smoothbore I've ever put a roundball through. I proofed the barrel first shot with 50g fffg and a realy tight prb, almost had to drive it down the barrel(gotta get some thinner patch material) and the barrel held nicely  then proceded to try to hit a target, The gun shoots nice, quick lock, and points really good. I can hit paper at 25yds but beins there ain't no sights I'm gonna have to do some more playin' to dial it in. Since my pillow tickin' was to thick I had to load wad ball wad but still seemed to hit close to point of aim. can't wait to get some .10 patches
