I just shot my flinter pistol for the first time on Sunday. What a blast, 62 cal smoothie. The fellow who I bought the pistol from said that he thought it may have been made in London prior to 1900. It has a pedigree as a movie gun, and I was wondering if there was a source to research proof marks. I am trying to identify the age and place of manufacture

Does anyone have ideas on sources?

Thanks in advance

I'll try to post some pictures tonight, I have to figure out how to do that.
