My first front loader was a .54 Renegade in ‘84.
I put thousand plus rounds through it before I traded it.
70gr fffg, .530 ball, and .015 patch, money all day.

.530 round ball,.15 patch,55-60 gr 2-3F for target work, 60-80 for hunting. Snap a cap before loading. Invest in a Dixie Gun Works catalog. Lots of info in the back. Probably the best working man rifle T/C ever made!

Excellent load all around and those rifles seem to settle in right there. I used it hunting and target.
