Inkstand

Just finished my first inkstand. The inkwell is a glass bottle captured in the walnut housing. The pounce pot (sander) is also made from two pieces of walnut. The base is maple.

Very nice work. We mostly do horn projects and I have been planning a similar project of horn and wood to do as a break from the normal powder horn plugs and tips.
