I fell for the hype as an alternative to my shotgun hunting. Nobody I knew hunted with BP guns. Got the bug in me after a trip with a "shirt tail relative" who had a sidelock. Said "Hey, this is cool, but a flinter would be even better". Bought one, found this forum, haven't even considered shooting the inline since. Side locks just make it FUN!
