I finaly found the web site for INOX. This would have to be the ultimate lubricant, dewatering and preserving fluid ever made. No, I don't have any monetry interest or shares or whatever in this stuff. I just know a great product from having used it (and always will). Scroll through all the pages on this site. I don't think you will find a better product for all your goodies.

Yes, Inox is a real good oil. I picked up a can at the
Ace Hdwe. Store in Parker, Az. I have a new flinter the
frizzen is a little tight after a few shots. I put 2
drops of Inox on the screw and it works fine.
The lock is broke in now, but I still give it a few drops
after cleaning. I think all Ace Stores carry Inox.

Which of the INOX products do you prefer? Grease or oils? PFTE or no?
As a rust preventative, I find "RIG" hard to beat, but may not be available down-under. I couldn't find their site, but I'm certain they have one. RIG stands for Rust Inhibiting Grease, and they are out of Sparks, Nevada (NV). Works great on all guns, protects from rain, snow, handling, etc. One coat lasts all season - or longer. (Do you even have snow?????)
Thanks for you help.

Snow in Australia? What's that". Yes we do have snow over here in the winter. It has already started to fall but its located mainly in the high country of Victoria and New South South Wales. There was a very heavy fall a few years ago and an avalanch wiped out an entire resort. I think only one person survived. Tasmainia, the most southern state, an island, has a very long snow season. I think it lasts almost 6 months. (You Tassie-ites correct me if I'm wrong here). Haven't heard of "RIG" so I will do a search for it. I don't use the Inox grease but use the standard oil type. I have PTFE in other lubes and will 'ave a go at the Inox PTFE when my current supply runs out. I use the standard Inox oil in a hand spray to protect my outboard motor inside and out and use it all over my firearms.

If you have difficulty with your search for RIG, recontact me and I'll see what I can do. I think Brownell's sells it. I have a quart can and its lasted many years for gun use. I'll go to one of my local hardware stores in search of Innox on your recommendation. Isn't PFTE a relative (chemically speaking) of Teflon? (During Maine winters, we try to figure out what keeps the Teflon ON the pan?) Thanks for the info, Mate!
