Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.
We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.
Well I didn’t get that rabbit eye, tried twice. Anyhow here it is the good the bad and the ugly. Off hand 25 yds. Maybe DQ’d for trying 2 on same dot. That’s ok.
Well I discovered I had a trigger issue with my poor boy flintlock, so I took my T/C Patriot pistol to the range today.
2 hits. One shot landed right at the top of the target.
I won't be able to get out to the range next week, so pistol target again this month for me.
T/C Patriot .45
.440 RB PT patch with liquid wrench lube
30 grains of Goex 3F.
What's better then watching smoke roll on a sunny Saturday morning at the range?
I braved the heat here in kansas to get mine shot this afternoon. I should have taken some colored dots with me, this rascal was a bit harder to see at 25yds than i figured on! No bulls but everything found points so ive got that going for me. I really wanted the headshot but managed to blast a chunk out of his forehead instead.
This is my first attempt at the contest . Shooting my first build which is a half stock using a CVA Hawken 54 cal barrel and CVA mountain lock, trigger and hardware. 75 grains of FFG GEOX .530 ball .015 pillow ticking.
Too late to mail it in to be included in the final, but good shooting! Be sure to grab the September target, shoot it and mail it in before September 30.
