Gorgeous! Man, if possible I'm even more excited about my fowler now. Roy does some durned good work.

What's it like to have that pan go off right in front of your eyes, RC? Must take some real self-control.

Heck, Roy, I figgered you already harassed bucktales with it and she was on her way to RC by now...

I have to make up a shipping box... thats my excuse and I am sticking to it. :haha:

Beautiful rifle Roy !, again. I have to admit, when I first looked at the pics I had to scratch my head a bit to figure why it looked different :hmm: Sometimes I'm a little slow on the uptake... Nicely done :hatsoff:

Beautiful early LR and I imagine a few hours of research were needed to "to get it right" and which you've done so well. I'm thinking of doing an early LR such as yours, but after 6 Bucks County LRs {which are very slim, by comparison}, I've just got to change my "mindset" which is probably the hardest task in switching to a more robust LR. You're to be complimented on your abilty to "think" in the various styles of LRs which is very important and is mandatory if one is to produce LRs that "aren't mechanical copies".......Fred
