RC, you ain't gonna believe this but I shot the CLUB today. :blah: I was so impressed with it that I was able to trade out barrels with Tom just to get that C-weight in .58 for my build that Roy and I are doing. You've got a dandy rifle. :thumbsup: Swampy, I'll get with you concerning the change of barrels. :shake: Count me in on the duel or would it be a truel? :shake:

the problem with pictures (especially in this case!!!) is they DO NOT do this gun justice!! I just received it (there's a barrel seasoning charge??) :wink: this is a work of art! what a beautiful gun!,,,the wood, brass, carving,balance..( :grin: )all perfect... I cannot thank Roy enough!! i done a lil shootin sunday... 1st pic low shot was a 50 grain try...umm no good, next three are 70 grains 3fff goex .015 spit patch and .575 rb..offhand at 50 yds.. single shot target at 65 yds offhand same load............still playin... :grin:

I'll get some .570's off to you in the mail tomorrow RC so you can compare. I like the thicker patch and a little heavier charge, it'll be interesting how yours shoots them compared to mine.

cool! i'd like to try thicker patch..these are a lil tight..shoots great..stays really clean..just a lil thicker may be better,,still gonna give lubed a try too..got some beargrease round here...deer tallow too.. hmm.. :wink:
