Good after noon. I'm new to muzzle loaders and hence, new to this forum although I have been lurking behind a bush or two for a couple weeks. My son has been after me to include BP in one of my many adventures so here I am. I found a side lock T/C New Englander in nice shape for a whopping $50.00. Had never shot one but let me tell you, I am hooked. We took it out back and lit off a half dozen at 25 yards just to get the feel. I loved it. Just two days ago I found a beautiful T/C Hawken that is in excellent shape - hard to tell from new. It's 50 cal and came with a hard case, a box of primers and a box of T/C mag-hunters. I gave $75.00 plus tax for it. I figure $125.00 was a good price for all the fun I'm going to have with these two beauties. We are going to the range tomorrow afternoon for some more shooting. I have learned so much from this forum and maybe one day I will know enough to add a thought or two. Thanks to you all for the great discussions.
