A hexbore whitworth can group at five hundred yards or more.but couldn’t give fire fast enough to defend a line. Is it less mediocre then a contemporary rifled musket?
A rifle that shoots half inch at a hundred yards better then a twelve gage?
Depends on deer vs duck…. Or bad guy in your bedroom
A gun that rings a gong can turn deer French. While a gun that can shoot a knats eye may not be your best elk or buff gun
