Is jeff tanner really that fast?

I emailed JT Molds about how to pay and what a .595 ball mold would cost US.he gave me the info and said as soon as i gave him my address he would have it in the mail.All i can say is........WOW.

He has an American partner that handles the money exchange. He may also keep an inventory of popular sizes. Dunno. But I have heard many times that Tanner is fine to do business with.

Yes, he is that fast. I purchased a mold from him before. I got it faster from him, than I get many shipments from US vendors. Outstanding service and mold.

 

I have to agree with Forrest. I have dealt with Jeff several times and the mold is usualy here before he got the payment. Good vendor and product.

IIRC, back when I ordered a .590" mold from him I had it in about 4 days.

What you should know is that there is NO SPRUE CUTOFF on his moulds. It's a primitive-type design with a long-neck cutoff.

Other than that design issue, he's great to work with.

Side cutters are ready to go.i dont plan on shooting 200 a week like i do with my centerfire cast rifles so its probably not much of a production issue.If i shoot 100 a month with it it would be stretchering it.

I ordered a mold and it took two days to get to New York City and another five days to go from NYC to western PA. Great service from Jeff. USPS not so good.

I worked with Jeff Tanner for a round all mold in .723 and I received the mold before I even ordered it........... :wink:

(......Well, it was very fast turn around. A couple of days! tops)
