WANTED Ithaca Hawken rifle Needed

Andrew Jackson was a poor speller, and he once said, "A man has to be stupid if he can't spell a word more than one way." Long ago, when I was in the army, I saw a carefully painted sign that said, "This pier is strickly off limits."
You would think that with smart phones and computers, errors in spelling and grammar would be diminished, but the mistakes seem to be increasing.

I had a friend say once." I use to couldn't spell C.P.A. now I are on"
He was joking of course as he was an excellent speller! We were in school together!

I’ll post some pictures tonight. .50 cal Original Ithaca Hawken. Stamped Ithaca NY on the barrel. Cherry corners lock and trigger. All original. Douglas barrel I assume as that was the barrel of choice when this rifle was produced. Asking $750 including shipping.

Ate you asking if the rifle is missing parts - answer no. It is complete and shoots great. I had to replace the wedge keys, one was gone when I bought it. Otherwise all original.
