Good evening to the forum! Is anyone here familiar with J.M. Adcock? I just picked up a ‘Bear Rifle’ in .62 caliber and have been unable to find any information aside from the fact they made barrels for Pedersoli at one point. I had to rush out the door, but I’ll get some proper photos tomorrow.

I don’t see any maker’s marks beyond what’s shown. Thanks in advance!

Mike Adcock built me a custom left hand .62 cal percussion pistol grip Hawken in 1992 that I still have. It was named “Elk Rifle” and it lived up to its name on three occasions. Beautiful rifle, very accurate. Mike was a great guy to work with. You will likely get a great deal of enjoyment out of your “Bear Rifle”.
