Very cool! I believe originals now will be in the 30K range to buy. Not many guys can say they owned an original Hawken. I'd give my left nut to say it. At my age maybe both nuts.

I'm not too impressed with the nipple-hammer alignment though. Not that anybody is going to shoot it but where's that Hawken workmanship?

I would be willing to bet that the hammer was snapped off when the wrist broke and was replaced with one that was 'good enough'. It had suffered a really bad break, enough to not only shatter the wrist, but also break the trigger guard to the point where someone scrapped it and made the crude one on it out of steel straps.
