This is a gun I bought for my dad last spring because he had always wanted a Fowler. In the meantime I have given him my Ken Netting Fowler as I prefer to shoot rifles. We no longer use this gun much. It’s a 42” octagon to round barrel. Wormy maple with some evidence of curl here and there. The wormholes are not too deep or in the wrong spots to hurt the integrity of the stock. The lock is l&r Queen Anne. The trigger is a bit heavy but perhaps with some work could be lightened. We shot it perhaps a dozen or two times. Never had an issue with round ball or shot. It’s a nice woods gun very light and balanced. The worm holes and aged finished make for a nice “barn gun” style rifle. Price is $850 which includes shipping costs. Reasonable offers will be considered. I have the urge to build another rifle and that’s where the funds will go so no trades please. Thank you
